Today's students, tomorrow's entrepreneurs

You're a student? You want to become an entrepreneur or develop your leadership and management skills?

The project “Today's students, the entrepreneurs of tomorrow ”proposes a new learning approach, using a business simulator, to bring to the fore the real challenges you may face when owning a business.

Through training, participants will have the opportunity to learn about the importance of leadership in a business and what aspects they need to consider when entering the role of a leader., building a portrait of the successful leader. During this training, participants will also receive a career questionnaire that will help them better understand whether entrepreneurship is an option for their career.

Care sunt obiectivele proiectului?

  1. From to testa, assess and improve the entrepreneurial skills of the participants, such as: the ability to make decisions under the pressure of time, the ability to diagnose a context and adopt appropriate solutions, critical thinking, strategy, leadership, delegation etc.
  2. To support students by giving them the opportunity to understand the importance of leadership in running and running a business.
  3. To make students aware of and understand the opportunities of an entrepreneurial career.

  • The project “Today's students, tomorrow's entrepreneurs ”is funded by the StartONG program, launched by Kaufland Romania and implemented by the Act for Tomorrow Association.

When it takes place?

The project starts on 26 October by transmitting the information of development and access to the competition and ends on 18 December when certificates of participation will be sent to students. You will receive more details about the project activities by email after completing the registration form.

Where it takes place?

  • 100% ONLINE, respectively: business simulation through the EDUardo platform, and the delivery of the training through the Zoom application.
  • EDUardo is a business process simulation platform that models scenarios for the development of key managerial skills: making decisions under the pressure of time, critical thinking, strategy, leadership, delegation etc.

What exactly are we going to do??

  • Transmission of development information and access to the competition to students.
  • Ensuring the access of each participant in the business simulation platform.
  • Training participants in using the EDUardo business simulation platform.
  • Presentation of the simulation scenario for the business competition.
  • Conducting the first round of the business competition for all students enrolled (102 students), within the business simulator offered through the EDUardo platform.
  • Conducting the second round of the business competition for the first ones 51 of students (ranked according to the results of the first round) within the business simulator offered through the EDUardo platform.
  • Conducting the third round of the business competition for the first ones 27 of students (ranked according to the results of the second round) within the business simulator offered through the EDUardo platform.
  • Livrarea unui training ce are ca tema leadership-ul către all students (102 students), in which participants will build a portrait of the successful leader.
  • Administering a career questionnaire for participating students.
  • Rewarding those 15 winning students which qualifies after the 3 game rounds.
  • Providing certificates of participation to 102 students enrolled in the project.

CINE SUNT TRAINERII?

Leadership course trainers are:

  • IRINA DOGARU – Founding Partner and Development Director EXELO Training & Development; is a consultant and trainer under Global Knowledge licenses, Great People Inside, SimTeam and Human Synergistics and has fish 20 years of experience in organizational development projects in the fields: strategy, talent management, leadership transformațional, customer relationship management and managerial coaching. Irina initiates and develops strategic partnerships with universities in Romania, building or participating in several types of events aimed at preparing students for their future careers: interuniversity competitions with business simulations, developing leadership and entrepreneurial skills, making business plans to earn funding for start-ups.
  • GABRIELA OPREA – Associate Professor at the Department of Business Administration at the University of Petroleum and Gas in Ploiesti, with over teaching experience 20 for years; doctor engineer economist; trainer for entrepreneurial skills; Coordinator of the Project "Students better prepared for the future"; Project manager for the project „CNFIS-FDI – Student Entrepreneurial Society, engine for developing the entrepreneurial skills of young SMART "; Member of the Commission for the Evaluation of Firm Companies; speaker at the "Woman Entrepreneur" conference; absolvent Babson Academy for the Advancement of Global Entrepreneurial LearningEntrepreneurial Mindshift for Educators Certificate.

What you will gain?

  • Practical experience gained in the business competition and knowledge and skills discovered and developed in leadership training.
  • Awards for the best 15 students, according to the results of the business competition. Awards (sets of books, personalized diaries etc.) will be delivered to the winners.
  • Certificates of participation for all students participating in the project. Certificates will be sent online to each participant.
